The eighth Provincial capital of Afghanistan is detained by the Taliban
On Wednesday, Taliban fighters took charge of another city in northern Afghanistan, an authority said that eight provincial capital falls to terrorists in six days exactly after the United States remove their forces from the country.
Imamia Jantri official News Desk: Taliban detained Faizabad, the provincial capital of Badakhshan. When the Afghani president landed to mizar e sharif rally its defenders as militants to take complete charge of the capital. A provincial member of the Badakhshan, Jawad mujadidi said that militants took charge of the city before their attacks. He further tells that unfortunately after a prolonged fight ANDSF withdrew. Militants get control over all northern cities as well as Faizabad.
Militants attack on the provincial capital is the biggest back for the government that is trying to cope up with the militant attacks for several months. Taliban fighters want to defeat the Afghani government and impose strict Islamic laws over the whole country.
