Imamia Jantri official news desk: Interior Federal minister reviewed the security measures taken by the government in the provinces of Pakistan, while addressing a meeting. He remarked that strict security precaution will be taken during the days of ashura. He also directed the law enforcement agencies to take strict security measures across the country.
According to DIG Operations Lahore, 605 majalis and 105 processions will be held across the city. He further added that 8000 security forces on 9th Muharram and 10,000 security forces on 10th muharram, will be performing their duties. He further said mobile services will be closed and pillion riding will be banned in big cities of the country, due to security reasons.
