Imamia Jantri Official News Desk: Police authorities executed security plans for the cricket matches that are being commenced between New Zealand and Pakistan in Rawalpindi cricket stadium from 17th September (today).
In addition, the fans would be checked through proper security like metal detectors, Biometric checking and walk through gates. According to security officials, there are no threats in the city but the law enforcement agencies didn’t want to take risks so they have taken all possible security measures to make these series peaceful. Furthermore, except for these 4000 policemen, 350 traffic forces will maintain traffic . Snipers will also be paying their duties on the roof around the cricket stadium and on routes. Police pickets will also be established in 50 different places for security reasons.
An alternative security plan is also set that includes the entire shutdown of cricket stadium road with the deployment of 327 traffic police to facilitate traffic during cricket matches. According to the official said that Muree Road from Faizabad to double road will be closed during arrival and departure of cricket teams in the Stadium.
