Dr Amjad is the founder of Akhuwat that provides interest-free loans to UN privileged people so they can sustain their income. Since its beginning in 2001, he has opened 700 branches in 350 urban communities across Pakistan, empowering more than 600000 individuals to become independent
The charity also supports educational plans, including Akhuwat College that started its work in 2015 and provides residential facilities that cannot afford quality education.
