Imamaia jantri Official news desk: The Khyber Paktunkhuwa assembly has become first Governing body in the country that formatted a baby feed and day care Centre to facilitate the children of parliamentarian women.
Speaker Mushtaq Ghani has inaugurated the daycare Centre. At the inauguration members of women parliamentary caucus, Unicef and health planning and development departments were also present.
At the inauguration ceremony Speaker Mushtaq Ghani appreciated the step of setting up the day care centre by Government, he said that from now to onwards parliamentary women would not have to leave their infants at home for attending assembly sessions and committees meetings. And they can ensure their presence in legislation procedures.
Members of women Parliament also appreciated this initiative of the Provincial Government and they also put request to establish day care centre in schools and colleges for better performance of teachers and other staff.
