Imamia Jantri Official news desk:  Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi visited Iran to promote a coordinated regional approach to the evolving situation in Afghanistan. During his meeting with Iranian President Sayyed Ibrahim Raeesi, Foreign Minister said that Pakistan wants to work with Iran in all areas to strengthen harmony among both countries.

According to the statement issued, the foreign minister informed the President of Iran about the Perspective of Pakistan on Afghan issue. While shedding light on the Issue he said that neighboring countries of Afghanistan should continue consultations for peace in Afghanistan, it will lead to political and economic benefits in the region.

Foreign Minister also met his counterpart Dr Amir Abdullahian at the Ministry of Foreign affairs in Tehran

Special Representative for Afghanistan, Ambassador Muhammad Sadiq, ambassador of Pakistan to Iran, Rahim Hayat Qureshi and other senior officials accompanied the foreign minister.
