Imamia jantri Official News desk: Federal Directorate of education issued dress code for male and female teachers during their duty hours. According to notice female teachers are not allowed to wear jeans and tights while their counterpart are also not allowed to wear T-Shirts and jeans.
All principals are directed to ensure that their teaching and non-teaching staff to follow dress code and personal hygiene as well .Personal hygiene includes use of perfumes, haircuts, nail cutting, beard trimming and hair cutting.
It is suggested that educationists must wear teaching gowns while teaching in class rooms and lab coats during lab practicals.
According to the notice a formal dress for women which is Decent Shalwar Qameez , trouse shirts, with duppata ,while the teachers who observes hijab are allowed to wear hijab . Jeans and tights are not allowed while formal shoes will be allowed to wear only. While for male teachers wear appropriate, simple shalwar qameez with waistcoat, full sleeves dress shirt preferably with tie and dress and cotton pants will be allowed only , while in summers a half sleeves dress shirt or bush shirt can also be worn with formal shoes only .
